About the presenter: Mark S. Ingrao, CCP, CAE, is the President & CEO of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. Formerly he was President of Aspen Strategies, LLC. Prior to that he was VP of Government Affairs for the National Apartment Association (NAA), VP of Government Affairs-VA for the Apartment and Office Building Association (AOBA), an Associate with the executive recruiting firm of Heidrick & Struggles, Manager of Recruitment for the National Business Development Practice of Arthur Andersen, LLP., and held various positions at Washington Gas including Public Affairs Area Manager and Manager of Compensation.
Mr. Ingrao is active in several professional and community organizations. He was recently appointed to the Board of Reston Hospital Center. Mr. Ingrao is on the board of the World Police and Fire Games. He is a member of Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executive Board of Directors. Mr. Ingrao was appointed by Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell as a member of the University of Mary Washington Board of Governors where he serves as Secretary. He is past Chairman of the Board of Regents for Leadership Arlington and the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, and is currently a member of Leadership Arlington. He is a member of the Initiative for Public Art – Reston’s (IPAR) Board of Directors. Additionally, Mr. Ingrao served on various boards including the Community Residence, Inc., Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance, Arlington Free Clinic, Virginia Public Access Project as well as CrisisLink’s Advisory Board. He was appointed by the Fairfax Board of Supervisors to the Fairfax Affordable Dwelling Unit Advisory Board in 2002.
In 1981, Mr. Ingrao received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Mary Washington. He is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and a Certified Association Executive (CAE). Mr. Ingrao is a graduate of Leadership Arlington’s 1999 inaugural class.Register Now
